Named after Robert Fulton’s historic invention, the Claremont, which was the first steam powered vessel that was launched from Jersey City in 1807, Claremont Cove was the first luxury residential complex to be constructed in what is now known as New Jersey’s “Gold Coast”. Claremont Cove was constructed around an existing foundry that was renovated to maintain and preserve the historic aesthetic of the surrounding neighborhood.
